The Centre for Urban Education is seeking freelance Project Developers/Coordinators to work from January 2009- July 2010. Contracts for services will be offered to develop and deliver a number of our Creative and Cultural Learning programmes, (including Creative Partnerships) across Greater Manchester, East Cheshire and Warrington. Areas of contracts will include:
- Professional Learning Programmes - creativity in education courses, seminars and events for artists and creative practitioners, teachers and educators.
- Schools Project Development - developing bespoke projects around themes identified by schools: including developing strategies for teaching and learning in creative spaces; supporting healthy living; using ICT creatively.
- Creativity, enterprise and employment: creative skills for employment
Please note, these contracts require understanding of issues and structures in education, and creative teaching and learning, experience of project management, administration, and co-ordination skills. They require facilitation of artists/creative practitioners, and some creative programming, however they are not they are not in themselves creative/artistic practitioner roles.
