Post Graduate CPD in Education





We offer all professionals working within the education community high quality courses in professional development that enhance their skills, extend their knowledge and challenge their thinking.

Professionals who study with us come from all areas of teaching and instruction, including educational settings, police and armed forces training programmes, health and welfare settings and the voluntary sector.

  • You can register for one unit at a time to build up towards an award
  • Your previous M level credits (PGCE or other) may be recognised (depending on award)
  • You will be allocated an academic tutor who can advise you on your progression pathway and identify unit options as well as discussing accreditation of your previous experience and professional development (APEL).
  • You will have full access to all MMU online and library based resources
  • Fees for site based study 2012-13 £660 per 30 credit unit

NEW FOR 2012/2013

You can now study for CPD units without having to complete a full award.

This ‘unit only’ route offers you the opportunity to be awarded 30 Masters level credits on successful completion of an individual unit.

Alternatively, other units, that do not bear credits, offer the opportunity to study an area of interest, and whilst you will have access to our full range of resources to support this study, you will not need to complete an assessment.

Our units fall under the following themes:
