All CDP units make use of e-learning and as a registeered student at MMU you can access electronic resources through the library and the MMU Virtual Learning Environment called WebCT

If you experience any problems, follow the guidance below:

If it's a password problem:

Telephone: 0161-247-5214 (Information systems help desk Crewe) and say:

• My password is not working
• I am an off-site student in Cardiff
• My name is ...
• My student number is ...(number on library/registration card)

You will be given a temporary password...
You will need to change your password within twenty four hours (24 hrs)

Please go to the Guidance 7: Accessing Electronic Resources for directions on changing your password. If you don't have a hard copy either phone 0161-247-5074 and ask for one to be sent to your home address or download a copy here.

If it's a problem with WebCT

If you can't log in please look at the guidance offered in the Troubleshooting pages of the website...

If you experience any problems with WebCT, start by reading the following troubleshooting pages:

If you cannot log into WebCT, start by reading this page.

If you can log into WebCT, but cannot find your unit, start by reading this page.

If you need to contact the university, telephone 0161-247-5074 (for Crewe students) or 0161 247 2011 (for Didsbury students) and give the following information:

• My e-learning / WebCT site doesn't show a connection to PDP*** but I am registered for it, please could you amend my student record?
• I am an off-site student in... (if appropriate)
• My name is...
• My student number is... (number on library/registration card)

If you are having other problems, start by reading this page

If none of the above answers your problem, please use the contact system on the e-learning web page or email a.lee@mmu.ac.uk (Please give the same information as above.)

This should sort the problem, but if all the above fail email either of the following explaining the difficulty.
