The Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP) full time 12 months
This pathway aims to meet the needs of graduates who wish to work with children and pursue a career in the Early Years but
may have an unrelated graduate level qualification and/or limited experience with 0-5 year olds. Candidates are required to
be innovative and enthusiastic about improving outcomes for children and also be committed to continuing their academic study.
The Graduate Practitioner Pathway (GPP) part time 6 months
This is a six-month part-time extended professional development pathway for those who already hold a full degree, are currently
working in the early years sector and may require a small amount of learning or experience before they can demonstrate the EYP
standards. This pathway enables you to 'top up' your knowledge, understanding and skills so that you can meet the standards and may
involve some taught sessions.
The Undergraduate Practitioner Pathway (UPP) part time 12 months
This is a twelve-month part-time extended professional development pathway for those with Early Years Foundation degrees to
enable them to achieve a full degree and sufficient experience to be able to demonstrate the EYP standards. This route leads to
the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies.
The Undergraduate Entry Pathway (UEP) full time 12 months
The course aims to meet the needs of undergraduates who are in the penultimate year of an Early Childhood Studies degree and who
wish to pursue a career working with children in the early years. Candidates are required to be innovative and enthusiastic about
improving outcomes for children.
