The Projects Office are pleased to announce they are the Centre of Excellence in the North West of England for delivery of the European Pedagological ICT Licence (EPICT) and supporting training programmes.

The EPICT Licence is a proven CPD staff development programme focusing on the practical integration of ICT within everyday teaching. It is specifically designed for the needs of education professionals. It is professional development for teachers through lead educators.

Programmes currently offered at MMU:

E-Safety Awareness Certificate

As social media sites become ever more popular and the Internet more easily accessible, the safety and protection of children and vulnerable adults online is of paramount importance.

The new certificate in E-Safety Awareness will offer teachers (and their support colleagues) the opportunity to increase their knowledge of staying safe with technology whilst affording practical opportunities to apply this awareness within their school.

Collective evidence generated within the school can be presented for the award of the EPICT UK School E-Safety Awareness Certificate. The EPICT E-Safety Awareness Certificate can in turn be used to build towards the EPICT Licence at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
